Reserve a Campsite on Lake George!
The Narrow Island ranger station, where you must sign-in for your campsite, is conveniently located 500 feet from our launch. Huletts Marina provides boat launch services & car parking for the duration of your camping trip.
There are 44 of the 170 islands on Lake George you can camp on. Totaling 398 overnight campsites & 116 picnic/day-use sites. All sites have fireplace grills & picnic tables. There are nine picnic shelters, which are ideal for larger gatherings or parties. You must reserve the islands for either day use or camping. There are three main clusters of islands available for camping on Lake George. From south to north: Long Island Group, Glen Island Group (known as “The Narrows”) & Narrow Island Group (known as the “Mother Bunch”). Huletts Landing Marina is the closest launch and marina to The Narrow Island Group, which is located in the central part of the Lake. The Narrow Island Group consists of the “Mother Bunch” of islands beginning at the base of Black Mountain & extending to Mallory Island off the eastern Silver Bay shoreline. Islands range in size from very large, offering 90 campsites to very small and private, accommodating only one campsite. All islands with campsites are equipped with at least one toilet facility, fireplace and picnic table.
